Raja Yoga Sadhana Ashram carries on the tradition of Dr. V.S Rao of High-Tech Yoga of America which in turn in the tradition of Raja Yoga Sadhana Ashram of Rishikesh, India where teaching in the tradition of Himalayan Yoga in this lineage was established. These teachings have been derived from the Veda, The Upanishads, The Baghavad Gita and other texts related to the effort of rendering the teachings available to all interested practitioners. Teaching content is built, in the beginning, on physical programs of Hatha Yoga and Jivan Tattva exercises and incorporating additional instruction in other forms of yoga leading to knowledge of the deeper aspects of Yoga

These practices can calm the mind, rejuvenate and improve one’s physical, mental and spiritual well being. The prime key to success is practice.

1: Om, (O Lord) Keep me not in the Unreality (of the bondage of the Phenomenal World), but lead me towards the Reality (of the Eternal Self),
2: (O Lord) Keep me not in the Darkness (of Ignorance), but lead me towards the Light (of Spiritual Knowledge),
3: (O Lord) Keep me not in the (Fear of) Death (due to the bondage of the Mortal World), but lead me towards the Immortality (gained by the Knowledge of the Immortal Self beyond Death),
4: Om, (May there be) Peace, Peace, Peace (at the the three levels – Adidaivika, Adibhautika and Adhyatmika).
